Let’s face it, some fun in the sun could do us all some good, not just the kids! A healthy dose of sunshine will help you procure your daily dose of vitamin D (and help you work on your tan!) but as always practice good sun safety and make sure the kids and yourself are wearing sunscreen. Long Island has many outdoor festivities and activities aimed towards kids to pick from this summer. Whether the kids want to pretend they are racecar drivers for a day at the go-kart track, or dress up as pirates and growl their very best, “Arrrr Matey” at the Pirate Festival & Classic Boat Show, you will not be lax on options. Get the kids ready, pack up the car, don a comfortable pair of shoes, and get ready for some fun in the sun with your little ones.
